It has been a long time since British rail-travel was anything you could be proud of and I fear that it will be a long time until is again — how is it that a train that leaves 10 minutes after another take the same route and arrive arrive a whole 45 minutes after the first?!

  1. By stopping at more stations. The probability of which is directly proportional to the rush you are in.
