David Brin’s ‘Sundiver’

On the advice of a colleague, I’ve just started reading Sundiver by David Brin. So far, it seems fairly hopeful. But, I did feel that this somewhat formulaic and cliched line just had to be quoted:
As usual, she was wearing next to nothing. Pretty, well endowed, and with long black hairm, the young biologist wore next to nothing very well.
Mmmmmm, hairm
